Jerzy Jurandot, born Jerzy Glejgewicht (March 19, 1911, Warsaw - August 16, 1979, Warsaw), Polish poet, dramatist, satirist and songwriter.
Jurandot debuted at the end of the 1920s, and in 1930s grew in popularity. He was the literary creator for the cabarets Qui Pro Quo and Cyrulik warszawskich as well contributing to others such as Morskie Oko and Banda. He also wrote dialog for the films such as Ada to nie wypada, Manewry miłosne and Pani minister tańczy.
In 1942 he was a literary manager of the theatre revue in the Warsaw Ghetto, working with Ivo Wesby.[1] After the World War II he created and managed the satirical theater "Syrena" (1945–50 and 1955–57). In 1952-55 he acted as the director the Satirical Theatre in Warsaw.
He was husband of Stefania Grodzieńska.
